I view therapy as an opportunity for the client to process emotions, increase resiliency, and gain knowledge, to best help themselves reach their fullest potential in life. I am passionate about working with individuals who are seeking to improve their ability to cope. I am interested in working with those struggling with disordered eating. I practice an integrative approach, to meet the client where they are. I utilize components of various therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior (DBT). I have experience in residential, intensive outpatient, acute partial hospitalization, and outpatient settings, working with adolescents and adults.

Caitlin is a New Jersey Licensed Associate Counselor and National Certified Counselor. She is a graduate of The College of New Jersey and Rider University and has been providing mental health related care in Mercer County for 15 years. Caitlin has extensive experience working with teens, adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma. As a therapist and somatic practitioner Caitlin’s approach focuses not only on the mental and emotional impacts of trauma but also on the impact that these events have on our nervous system and body. Combining a psychodynamic approach with systems and somatic modalities such as IFS, EMDR and other bilateral stimulation and body-based approaches, she focuses on addressing issues from a bottom-up perspective. Caitlin has experience with various areas of focus including neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity exploration, and emotional dysregulation, and is passionate about providing queer and culturally affirming care. She is being supervised by Charlene Armstrong Mayer.
